Week 12 (Nov. 19), Day 1
Today's Goals:
1) Plan a 1-2 minute speech on a topic you have a STRONG OPINION about. Your goal is to be enthusiatic and convince your audience of your opinion.
Homework:
1) Complete #5 of the Review Writing Process.
2) Continue researching your final project team's social issue.
3) With your partner plan a 3 to 4 minute dialogue reviewing the movie / restaurant, in 3 parts: a) Introduction of the restaurant / movie: You must employ clear visual aids (photos, PPT, posters, etc., but not video clips). No cue cards this time.
b) Your opinion: Use the guiding questions to help you. Your opinion does not have to be the same as your partner.
c) Your recommendation: Should be people visit / watch it? Who would enjoy it most? Give it some kind of rating (5 stars, two thumbs up, A- etc.).
