Welcome to Freshman English 1! I am David Cadman and I chose this image because I am a Kiwi (a person from New Zealand). We will have 15 weeks together in which you will learn paragraph writing, discuss many interesting topics, and, I hope, have fun.
In the right hand column are links to a number of documents that you might find useful. You should go to them, read them, and print them out as you need them.

Buy a book! (You cannot complete Freshman English 1 without your own textbook)
As a group, choose one of the Chapter 1 readings. Read it, complete the vocabulary exercise, and prepare your answers for the discussion questions.
