Week 4, Day 1
Today's lesson is very important. First we will discuss Participation Points. You need to receive at least 10 of these this semester to get a perfect score. Please check under 'important documents' for more information about these.
Also, there has been a change to homework policy. Unfortunately, not enough of you are completing your homework, so instead of checking your books at the end of semester, I will be checking your books at the start of every class. Every class in which you have completed your homework, you will receive 0.5% towards your maximum 5% homework score.
Today I will check your Writing Assigmnent 1 (Email) Final Draft and give your your final score. Also, I will check your Listing Paragraph 2nd Draft. After I have checked these, please put them in your Portfolio Folder at the back of your book. All completed written work counts towards the 5% you receive for your portfolio. For more information about this, please check your Course Outline.
Finally, today we will discuss social issues affecting Korea. We will use our discussion of these social issues to help us with Writing Assignment 2, the Order of Importance Paragraph.
