The writing process form must be completed correctly and completely.
In Freshman English 1 we will complete five (5) writing assignments:

Email (Unit 1)

Order of Importance Paragraph (Unit 4)

Time Order Paragraph (Unit 6)

Process Paragraph (Unit 8)

Cause and Effect Paragraph (Unit 10)
Each writing assignment is worth five (5) points. You will choose your four (4) best writing assignments to count towards your final grade (4*5=20). The First, Second, and Third Drafts must be posted to Seesaw:

Writing Process (1) - You will receive this form in class. Complete ALL parts correctly, including writing your first draft in your book. Show teacher in class to receive a stamp.

Peer-Edited First Draft (1) - Classmates check first draft (in your book) for errors and make suggestions. Make editing marks in RED PEN. Editors must sign your book. Photograph and upload to Seesaw.

Second Draft (1) - Use the editing comments on your first draft and type a 2nd draft (using Microsoft Word). This must be better than your first draft. Save the 2nd draft as a PDF (keep the original file) and upload it to Seesaw.

Third Draft (2) - Read the teacher's comments on your 2nd draft (on Seesaw) and make all the changes. Upload your 3rd draft (in PDF format) to Seesaw.

All Drafts must be posted on time. One class late will receive a 1/2 mark penalty. A week or more late will get zero marks.
